In July of 2005 an international team of four
paddlers traveled along the majestic Rivière Denys, known in English
as the Saint Denys River, through the sub-arctic wilderness of
northern Québec to Hudson Bay. Supported by the Royal Canadian
Geographic Society and other select sponsors, the
team traced a challenging voyageur route pioneered in 1888 by A.P.
Low, one of Canada’s greatest explorers.
